CNY Chive's Pirate Party

Event Description

CNY Chive's Pirate Party and Unofficial Meetup is April 18th and the proceeds are being donated to Chive Charities. Doors open at 8pm. There are Chivers and Chivettes coming from across New York and neighboring States!

This party will be our best yet, here's just some of the stuff we'll have!
- Live music provided by the infamous Chiver known as Michael Mustizerbeginning at 8:30pm.
- DjSkeet will follow the live performance with a dance party to close the night off properly!
- Ice shot luge. 
- Epic party games.
- Prizes for best male & female costumes.
- Prize for best beard.
- Fireball girls giving away free shots from 9pm-11pm.
- Kelly Geremski Photos will be there to capture memories throughout the night!
- We will also have a photobooth set up provided by Mr. D Photobooth!

There are two tickets available:
Option 1: $20 Standard ticket which includes entry and a donation to Chive Charities. (Save $5 by purchasing in advance)
Option 2: $25 VIC ticket which includes entry, a larger donation to Chive Charities, a souvenir shot glass, and a drink ticket that you can use towards a selection of soda, wine, beer, or even some Captain Morgan! (Can be served as a shot or a mixed drink)

HOTEL DEAL:
Please call the Maplewood Inn at 315-451-1511 and be sure to mention the group code of CHIVE to receive the special rate of $89 for Friday and/or Saturday night. You will have access to a free shuttle during your stay, including to & from the event because they extended the shuttle hours just for us! They also have a complimentary hot breakfast, a 24 hour fitness room, and a pool that we can take advantage of.

Liability Waiver

By purchasing a ticket to the event, you are also electronically signing the waiver. This is stated on the ticket description and the event page as well. It’s nothing out of the ordinary, just stating that you are taking care of yourself, and are responsible for yourself if you do something silly or injure yourself. Everyone who has a ticket has signed it electronically, and must have done so to enter the event. Here it is in Full:

 

WAIVER

1.   I acknowledge that my attendance and/or participation in CNY Chive's Pirate Party (the “Event”) involves the possibility of physical injury, disability, death, and/or damage to equipment

2.    I HEREBY VOLUNTARILY ASSUME THE RISKS OF ATTENDING AND/OR PARTICIPATING IN ANY ACTIVITY  AT OR ASSOCIATED WITH THE EVENT.

3.    In consideration of the all entities allowing me to use and/or participate in the event, I hereby state the following

a.    I WAIVE, RELEASE, AND DISCHARGE CNY Chive and/or any of its agents, NY State Chive and/or any of its agents, the Facility and/ or any agents at which the event is held, and any other entities that help support the Event from any and all claims, losses, or liabilities for death, personal injury, partial or permanent disability, property damage, medical or hospital bills, theft, or damage of any kind, including economic losses, which may arise by reason of my participation and/or presence at the Event. To the extent possible by law, I hereby fully waive, release, and discharge all parties notwithstanding their own negligent acts or omissions or the negligent acts or omissions of others

b.    I agree that I will not bring any action or claim against any of the parties hereby released for any reason associated with the Event.

c.     I INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS  the parties hereby released from any and all claims made or liabilities assessed against them as a result of my participation in training and/or usage of the Cascade Pacific Council Boy Scout camp.

d.    I ACKNOWLEDGE AND ALLOW the use of any and all photographs and video taken of me at the event to be used by CNY Chive, NY State Chive, theChive, and Revolutions for any promotional purposes or any other uses without further consent or notification.

I HEREBY AFFIRM THAT I AM TWENTY ONE (21) YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER. I HAVE READ THIS DOCUMENT AND I UNDERSTAND ITS CONTENTS. I ACKNOWLEDGE THE POSSIBLE HAZARDS OF ATTENDING AND/OR PARTICIPATING AT/IN THE EVENT AND I AM FULLY AND VOLUNTARILY WAIVING ALL LIABILITY THAT MAY ARISE BY REASON OF THIS PARTICIPATION AFTER FULL CONSIDERATION OF THE RIGHTS I AM WAIVING. THIS WAIVER IS IN CONSIDERATION OF MY BEING ALLOWED TO PARTICIPATE IN THE EVENT.
